The annual Fayetteville Veteran's Day Parade was held on Saturday, November 7 and once again, members of Rolling Thunder NC 1 were there to take part. As always, it is a privilege to take part in this event to honor our veterans. It is always heartwarming to ride down Hay St. and see all the people who come out to also take part.
The weather was cooperative, as the sun was shining, but it was cool enough that folks were wearing long sleeves or jackets.
Everyone gathered up at our usual spot on the hill heading down to the Airborne museum. There was a good turnout today, despite the cold morning.
As always, the POW display follows the bikes. It is a stark reminder of what our POWs had to endure.
Finally it was time to start rolling down the hill. Man, I have dirty mirrors...
Thanks to everyone who came out. Should be some more pics on the way soon...thanks in advance to Barbra and Vicki for those. Hint, hint.
Here are a few shots that Kaitlyn Sessoms took. Thanks Kaitlyn!!
