The Nomination Committee will be
responsible for recording all nominations during the July and August
meetings. At the September meeting, they will pass out ballots,
collect them, and then count the votes and present the President with
the results of the election.
As mentioned above, nominations will be taken during
the July and August meetings only. To be nominated and/or elected for
any office, a Chapter member must be a member in good standing for a
period of one (1) year or longer and must be present at the meeting to
accept the nomination. The person must be a full member at the
time of the nomination and have earned their patches. If an
elected officer wishes to run for a new office he/she must first
resign from the office they now hold at the election meeting prior to
the vote. If a member of the nomination committee receives a
nomination and they wish to accept, they must first remove themselves
from the nomination committee.
