Rolling Thunder® NC 1 held the annual Easter Egg hunt at the Alms House Saturday, April 4th. Folks started gathering at VFW 670 around 10:00am for the ride over to Hope Mills when this dude showed up...
Hmmm, not quite sure what the deal is here. I think maybe Evelyn thought the Easter Egg hunt had already begun, so she started looking at the source!
Not finding any eggs, she quickly made up with the "biker bunny" before there was an incident.
The bunny and friends made the short "hop" over to Hope Mills to meet up with their guests for the day...
OK, so that isn't them. I'm sure the bunny is like "hey, you better have brought some eggs because one of you already tried looking for some under my cottontail and really, that isn't where they come from."
Here are our guests for the day and fortunately the bunny brought plenty of colored eggs. I mean really, he is the Easter Bunny and you knew he would have eggs and candy for everyone...
Well, most everyone. Taking matters into their own hands, several folks headed outside before the kids and started looking for eggs, because they heard there were some hidden outside. As you can see, they weren't very successful.
And Bill is like, "This is wrong man, there aren't any eggs out here. Someone is telling stories I think." So off they go, with not one Easter Egg in hand.
About that time, the Easter Bunny does a little hop and gestures toward the field, sending the kids out to look for eggs.
Oddly enough, the kids aren't having any trouble finding eggs...
Thanks to everyone who helped out today with eggs and cupcakes for the kids. As always, it turned out to be a great day.

Being the first Saturday of the month, later that evening Rolling Thunder® NC 1 paid a visit to our friends at the North Carolina State Veterans Nursing Home for some bingo.
And who do you think showed up out of the blue? That's right, it was that bunny again toting a cart full of goodies for everyone!
