VFW Post 670 held a Poker Run on Sunday, May 3 to benefit the Wounded Warrior Battalion out at Ft Bragg. While it wasn't a Rolling Thunder event, we did have our information table set up outside and of course many of our members are also members of VFW 670 and we have some pictures so here they are.
The local chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association were in attendance for a Bike Blessing before the run began. There was BBQ with all the fixings for everyone after the ride, plus the band Blue Sky provided the tunes. The weather was great, and everyone had a good time.
By the way, the event was a success. Approximately $800 was raised to turn over to the folks at ACS to help take care of the Wounded Warriors. Thanks to everyone who participated!!
