Members of RTNC1 set up an information booth at this year's Angier Bike Fest to talk to spread the word about Rolling Thunder® and our mission. We also had a real nice battery tender to raffle off.
Congratulations to Richard V. from Fuquay-Varina! He was the winner of the batter tender.
Kathy was our primary raffle ticket seller, and she went to great lengths to sell tickets. We also gave out quite a few of our POW-MIA pins, so to all of you who helped put those together - thank you very much.
All-in-all, this was a really good fundraiser for us, plus now a lot more people know what Rolling Thunder® is all about! We were also able to make a few contacts that may be useful in future fundraising events. The event seemed to be a success, though the constant chance of showers may have kept some folks away.
